New Improved Formulas

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is a non abrasive whitening toothpaste safe for everyday use.
The new improved formula specially developed to decrease teeth sensitivity to cold, heat, contact and acids. Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is clinically proven to whiten teeth safely. The revolutionary formulation includes 12 active ingredients and the patented Bromain Complex™

Bromain Complex™ includes a combination of natural enzymes Bromelaine from pineapple and Papain from papaya.

The active ingredients, together with the Bromain Complex™, create the safe Cosmeceutical Component Whitening action without abrasion. Unlike other leading brands Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste does not contain silica (sand) in its formulation.

Noticeable whitening results will be seen when just a pea-size amount per brushing of Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is used twice daily, regularly and in place of any other toothpaste. Significant whitening will be seen when used regularly for a longer period six weeks and used according to the manufacturers directions (the longer the active components stay in the mouth the better whitening and gum protection results).

There are many other whitening toothpastes currently available, all claiming to whiten teeth. These other whitening toothpastes are, however, just mere stain removers, containing no actual whitening ingredients. The BBC Television Programme Health Watchdog acknowledged that Janina Tooth Whitening products are the only products (compared with other known whitening toothpaste brands) which contain ingredients with the ability to whiten teeth.

Not only does Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste deliver the cosmetic benefit of whiter teeth it also offers the ULTIMATE ORAL HEALTH PROTECTION - Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste
  • helps control halitosis (bad breath)

  • helps prevent decay
These added benefits are achieved by the action of ingredients included in the formulation:

  • Bromain Complex™ to remove internal and external staining, whiten teeth and prevent halitosis
  • Sodium Citrate to reduce sensitivity
  • Fluoride (at optimum level) to help prevent decay and for lasting gum protection

Whitening

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is clinically proven to whiten teeth safely.

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste uses Cosmeceutical Component Whitening to achieve its whitening results.

Cosmeceutical Component Whitening involves the use of multi-component peroxides which produce 0.1% hydrogen peroxide (as is the legal limit), the patented Bromain Complex™ (including the enzymes Bromelaine from pineapple and Papain from papaya.) and 12 active ingredients.

Hydrogen peroxide is an effective oxidising agent which has a low molecular mass and an ability to denature proteins (stops the adhesion), therefore assisting in movement and keeping the surface clean. Because hydrogen peroxide has these properties it is able to permeate enamel and dentine resulting in effective intrinsic (internal) and extrinsic (external) stain removal.

Under normal circumstances 0.1% hydrogen peroxide would have no bleaching effect due the small amount in the product. It is these multi-component peroxides together with the enzymes in the Bromain Complex™ which is able to facilitate the whitening effect of 3% hydrogen peroxide but maintain a concentration of 0.1% hydrogen peroxide.

Noticeable whitening results will be seen when just a pea-size amount per brushing of Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is used twice daily regularly and in place of any other toothpaste.

Significant whitening will be seen when used regularly for a longer period six weeks - and used according to the manufacturers directions (the longer the active components stay in the mouth the better whitening and gum protection results).

Health Which?, the independent consumer magazine, has awarded Janina with the highest rating for the quality of clinical research. Health Which? evaluated research provided by the 19 best selling whitening toothpastes to support their claims that teeth were whiter and brighter after regular use. Janina scored the highest rating but shocking results revealed that some leading brands scored poorly and others scored zero!

Non-abrasive, safe for everyday use

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is a non abrasive product safe for everyday use. The formulation does not contain any silica (sand) or hydrated silica to abrade the enamel during brushing.

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste has an RDA (Relative Dentine Abrasion) of 28. The RDA of other well known whitening toothpastes ranges between 80-180 acting like sandpaper or an emery board on teeth.

Dentists and hygienists recommend Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste for daily use because the product is non-abrasive and therefore will not promote tooth abrasion.

The Dental Profession also recommends Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste for use with an electric toothbrush because it is non-abrasive. Most known whitening toothpaste brands contain silica or hydrated silica in the formulation. The silica acts like sandpaper and rubs away the protective enamel from the surface of the tooth. This causes sensitivity and teeth to be more susceptible to dental caries.

An added benefit of using of the non abrasive Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste with an electric toothbrush is that the mechanics and head of the brush will not get blocked up with silica residue and fail to operate as happens when toothpaste containing silica is used.

Halitosis (bad breath) control

Janina Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste is clinically proven to protect against halitosis (bad breath).

Patients suffering from active periodontitis (gum disease) have high levels of volatile sulphur compounds which cause a foul smell of sulphides and mercaptans being generated. The deeper the periodontal pocket (the gap between gum and root of tooth) the higher the production of these sulphides and mercaptans.

Patients with good periodontal health also suffer from halitosis e.g. bad breath from eating food or drinking coffee. Stale breath also occurs also as a result of not eating for a number of hours.

THERE ARE THREE MAIN WAYS OF TREATING HALITOSIS
  1. ATTACK THE BACTERIA ON THE TEETH, TONGUE AND GUM MARGINS
This is achieved by using Janina Opale Whitening Toothpaste because Zinc Citrate and Enzymes are contained in the unique formulation.
  2. BLOCK OR REMOVE THE SUBSTRATES THAT PRODUCE SULPHUR
This may be achieved by oxidation of the phial groups by methaline such as zinc which is contained in Janina Opale Whitening Toothpaste.
  3. INCREASE THE SALIVARY FLOW
This takes place immediately with use of Janina Opale Whitening Toothpaste.
